Data Loggers
In general terms, data loggers refer to any electronic devices that automatically acquire, display and record information over a period of time. This data can then be measured, documented, analyzed and validated. The information is typically downloaded to a computer for advanced analysis. They are required in many industries to ensure compliance with specific regulations and for quality control purposes and are used in a variety of industries including, but not limited to: construction/engineering, environmental research, laboratories and healthcare, logistics, agriculture, manufacturing, energy and food industries.
Through digital processing, data loggers add simplicity and accuracy to any testing procedure. Advanced technology increases lab output, saves costs, and frees up technicians to ultimately provide more precise test results.
Humboldt’s data loggers are designed specifically for use in construction materials testing where they add data acquisition and logging capabilities to older or simpler testing equipment, thus upgrading the equipment with which they are being used.
Using Humboldt’s NEXT software, the data loggers can seamlessly connect to the necessary transducers, load cells and digital indicators, allowing the software to furnish robust data acquisition, calibration and report generation. The data can then be viewed in different formats with or without the use of a computer. Humboldt provides both analog and digital models. The Elite Series Data Loggers are designed for use within construction materials testing labs.
The HM-5320.3F analog data logger is ideal for use with instruments like a pressure transducer, load cells and strain transducers. The provide four individual 16-bit analog-to-digital (AD) converters.
The HM-5330.3F digital data logger is ideal for use with digital indicators and provides four individual digital indicator inputs.
The HM-5320U analog data logger< is an upgrade for the previously sold HM-5325A.3F MiniLogger in order to add data acquisition capabilities to that older testing equipment. Similarly, the HM-5330U data logger is an upgrade for the previously available HM-5330D.3F MiniLogger.
